Rumors have been swirling that Maria Sharapova is engaged to her boyfriend Grigor Dimitrov. However, the former World Number 1 slashed all talk about a wedding for her in the near future.

According to FOX, people started gossiping about a wedding during New York's Fashion Week last weekend, when Sharapova was spotted wearing a ring on her left hand.

But when the tennis star discussed the matter with Larry King, she said, “No, I’m not getting married. Not that I know of!”

After her loss at Wimbledon this year, she did not play in the US Open last week in an effort to rest her shoulder injury, reports Tennis Earth.

When asked about her participation in the ATP World Tour Finals this year, the Russian player seemed positive. She said, “that’s my goal. I really want to finish with that tournament this year. But I also want to heal my shoulder. It’s going to take as much time as it needs. Bursitis is a bit tricky because there’s not much you can do for it except wait for it to get better. I’m not a patient person so that makes it extremely difficult.”

Clearly, with everything on her plate, there are no plans of a wedding any time soon.
