Michael Douglas was seen moving out of his New York City apartment that he shares with estranged wife, Catherine Zeta- Jones in the midst of marital issues.
A rep for the couple confirmed their separation late last month, saying, "Catherine and Michael are taking some time apart to evaluate and work on their marriage.”
However, while Douglas was in Berlin recently, promoting his film Behind the Candelabra, he told reporters, “I have a crisis at home? No, I think the press has a crisis. We are fine. My wife and I are fine." He also called it a "temporary separation.”
According to Newsoxy, both Douglas and Zeta-Jones are both still wearing their wedding rings. They are reportedly under a lot of stress due to Douglas’ cancer diagnosis a few years ago and the Chicago actress undergoing treatment for Bipolar II disorder.
The couple has been married for nearly 13 years and they have two kids together; Dylan, 13, and Carys, 10.
