The two have called it off again, this time seemingly permenant
Following Miley’s string of headline making antics and reports of Liam’s infidelity, the young and engaged stars have officially called it quits.
For the past several months, Cyrus and Hemsworth have rarely been spotted out together and he was infamously absent during her controversial VMA performance in August. Their last public outing was at the premiere of Hemsworth film Paranoia where they were noticeably distant.
According to People magazine, both reps have confirmed the split. The pair, who met on the set of The Last Song in 2010 were engaged in May 2012. Earlier this year, the decision was made to postpone the wedding, however now it is officially off. Following the postponing, Miley was spotted without her 3.5-carat Neil Lang ring but vehemently denied trouble in paradise.
Speculation was at its peak when the 20-year old starlet and avid Twitter-user unfollowed Hemsworth on the social media site.
The 23-year-old Aussie does not seem to phased by the break-up, which was invoked by Cyrus. The New York Daily Newsreports the actor, who spent last weekend in Vegas, was photographed at XS nightclub with a beautiful Mexican actress and singer, Eiza Gonzalez.
Miley will continue to promote her upcoming album Bangerz, due out early October as Liam prepares for the second Hunger Games film in November.
