There are few people in America who haven't at least heard of Miley Cyrus' recent behavior. Within the past year and a half, Cyrus has cut off her gorgeous locks to rock a shorter, edgier 'do. Her most recent songs, "Wrecking Ball" and "We Can't Stop" feature provocative lyrics and racy videos to match. These recent acts of rebellion against her previous image as a wholesome Disney star haven't slowed her down through, as she is currently on the cover of Harper's Bazaar's October issue.
Within the issue, Cyrus discusses last months' performance on the MTV Video Music Awards and how she is "trying to take over the world. The magazine's cover photo features her in a black gown that provides much more coverage than the outfits (or lack of) that she has been adorning in her music videos.
The singer/actress also admits that her behavior has been pretty immature as of late, but blames it on her former Disney persona. "I just wanted to party", Cyrus says in her interview, referring to the time after her Disney Channel show, Hannah Montana, ended.
Her fiancé, Liam Hemsworth, however, is reportedly "mortified" by her performance on the VMAs. The on-again-off-again couple has been vague when it comes to if they still plan to be wed, stating that neither of them have time to plan a wedding at the moment, as reported by E! News.
