We know now that Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth were having problems in their relationship, as they recently confirmed the end of their engagement, but Cyrus is now revealing she wanted to end the relationship as far back as February.

In a new interview, the “Wrecking Ball” singer told Fashion magazine that she wrote the song “Drive” about needing to move on.

“I wrote it while I was working on Valentine's Day - emotionally it was such a hard time," she said, adding the song is "about needing to leave someone but not really wanting to completely cut yourself off from the relationship. It's a time when you want to leave but you can't. It's also about moving on."

That was six months prior to the couple officially confirming the end of their on and off four-year relationship.

The Hunger Games actor, 23, has quickly moved. He’s already been seen with singer/actress Eiza Gonzalez, kissing her outside of her Beverly Hills apartment.
