Netflix has changed the way it looks at itself as consumers continue to do the same. No longer is it just a service that provides old content and a way to catch-up on TV shows. Since it has added original content, it now considers itself a “movie and TV series network.”

The company recently made several small changes to its “long-term view” note, which were first noticed by BTIG analyst Rich Greenfield, reports The Huffington Post. The note once read “We are movies and TV shows,” but that line has now been changed to “We are a movie and TV series network.”

Essentially, what this means is that Netflix is now considering itself a major player along the lines of HBO and AMC, now that it has original shows like House of Cards and the revived Arrested Development. “We’re now at the scale where we can economically create original content, debuting on and fully-exclusive to Netflix,” the note reads. It mentions Netflix’s other original shows, Orange is the New Black, Lilyhammer and Hemlock Grove.

The Wall Street Journal notes that the note also says Netflix considers itself the sole leader in the Internet TV business. The statement “As Internet TV grows from millions to billions, Netflix, HBO, and ESPN are leading the way” now reads “As Internet TV grows from millions to billions, Netflix is leading the way.”

As Quartz points out, Netflix now thinks it is competing with everyone, not just HBO any more. But it still recognized that Internet TV has a way to go before it before it dominates the market. “We compete very broadly for a share of members’ time and spending, against linear networks, DVDs, other internet networks, video games, web browsing, magazine reading, video piracy, and much more,” the note reads.

The change to Netflix’s long-term view came quietly, but what it sends is a strong message. Netflix doesn’t see itself as merely an app now. With House of Cards already winning Emmys and up for more this weekend, the company is now more confident than ever.
