New parents Fergie and Josh Duhamel have debuted the first picture of their son, Axl Jack Duhamel, on social media sites. The couple welcomed their first child on Aug. 29.
Duhamel first posted a picture of baby Axl, writing, “Axl Jack Duhamel Day 1 Life is good 🙂 #paparazziyoucanleaveourhousenow.”
The Black Eyed Peas frontwoman follows her husband’s post up with a photo of her own, captioning it, “Axl Jack Duhamel. Day 2 of life. Hearing test complete. All systems go. #chillin.”
Us Weekly notes Axl is now three weeks old, and he weigh in at 7 lbs. 10 oz. when he was born in a Los Angeles hospital late last month.
Back in July, Duhamel announced on LIVE! with Kelly and Michael that he and his wife were expecting a baby boy.
He also spoke about the name before Axl’s birth, saying “It's a fairly traditional name but you don't hear it very often. It means a lot to both of us and part of it is a family name. We're not telling anybody because we don't want to hear it. No matter what you chose, people are going to have their comments."
