After a cycling paparazzo crashed into Nicole Kidman Thursday, she decided to press charges.
US Weekly reports that the 46-year-old was strolling down the sidewalk, minding her own business, in Manhattan during Fashion Week when a photographer riding a bike struck her, unable to to use his brakes in time.
The Australian actress was just leaving the Calvin Klein fashion show and was on her way back to her hotel. When photographer Carl Wu lost control of his bike, Kidman fell to the ground the moment he hit her. Witnesses claim that they heard Kidman cry out, “Oh, my god!” and “Ow, ow.” One observer said that "She looked hurt, but there wasn't any blood. She put her shoes back on and ran into the Carlyle." Another witness said that Wu attempted to use his brakes, but to no avail.
Now, Kidman, furious, is pressing charges. According to TMZ, police officials are writing Wu a ticket for riding a bike on the sidewalk, but won't arrest him for anything more serious than that.
Wu has upset other celebrities as well, including Lady Gaga. An entire Tumblr account is dedicated to the papparazo – called “F**k You Carl Wu.”
