Olivia Wilde has continued to be one of the most popular actresses around the world. Her popularity has lead her to be one of the top searched names on the Internet Movie Database, which honored her at the Toronto International Film Festival on Monday.

Wilde was presented with the first STARmeter Award as the top name on IMDb’s STARmeter of popular names searched by its 160 million users.

After Wilde appeared in 2010’s Tron Legacy, she has been among the Top 10 names on the STARmeter 27 times and in the Top 5 over 17 times. Since she appeared in her first movie in 2004, she’s been in the Top 100 over 182 times.

IMDb CEO and Founder Col Needham was on hand to introduce the award, followed by Oscar winning writer/director Paul Haggis (Crash), who handed the award to Wilde. Haggis recently directed Wilde in Third Person, which also features Liam Neeson and Mila Kunis.

Wilde will continue her successful streak this year, since she stars in Ron howard’s Oscar contender Rush, which hits theaters on Sept. 27. She also appears in writer/director Spike Jonze’s Her with Joaquin Phoenix, which will close the New York Film Festival next month.
