Olivia Wilde revealed in her interview for the October issue of Allure magazine that she reached out to Jennifer Aniston for advice on coping with fame.
According to Entertainmentwise, the 29-year-old actress landed in a media frenzy after joking about her failed married to Tao Ruspoli at an event hosted by Galmour magazine. Wilde candidly spoke to the audience saying, “I felt like my vagina died. Turned off. Lights out… And you can lie to your relatives at Christmas dinner and tell them everything on the home front is just peachy, but you cannot lie to your vagina.” She also added details about her new relationship with Jason Sudeikis saying they had “sex like Kenyan marathon runners.”
Since Jennifer has survived life in the public eye, Olivia figured she should ask her for some advice.
“And I explained the situation, and I said I needed advice on how to deal with these things,” says the actress. “She wrote me one of the most gracious, wise emails describing her journey and really wonderful words of advice about how to deal with it. And in the end, I think I would do it all again exactly the same way.”
It seems like Wilde has learned a thing or two from Aniston. E! News reports that like Jennifer, Olivia is keeping her upcoming nuptials to fiancé Jason Sudeikis private.
“I trust everyone to not leak any information,” she says. “I just hope no one ends up flying a stupid helicopter over it or anything dumb like that.”
