The One Direction boys have a reputation for being rebellious, but this time they are getting in trouble with the law! The 1d boys and their entourage have been allegedly engaging in some bad behavior by running some red traffic lights.

According to E! Online the boys and their team ran three red lights while in Perth, Australia for their Take Me Home Tour.

Apparently the band was attempting to get away from some dedicated fans that were following them through the city.

However, Western Australia Assistant Commissioner Nick Anticich revealed that he’s launched an official investigation and won’t let even the world’s most famous boyband get away with breaking the law.

“I have been made aware of it, and I’ve asked our traffic enforcement group to have a look at it. We need to determine the facts and obviously if there’s any evidence supporting the allegations,” he said.

He continued, “By virtue of the fact that they are rock stars is not a license to break any laws or be any different from anyone else. One Direction they may be, but the olny direction in relation to this type offending will be to the courts.”

Perez Hilton reports that One Direction’s rep is sharing their side of the story.

“The primary focus of the security team is always fan safety,” the rep said. “The only time they have gone through red lights is under a police escort and this was done in Adelaide.”
