Oprah Winfrey has admitted that she really isn't a fan of balloons.
In the October edition of O, The Oprah Magazine, she talks about how much they freak her out, Mediaite reports.
"I don't like balloons, and for my 40th birthday my entire staff decided to surprise me," the media mogul said in a video. "I come downstairs and the entire audience is filled with balloons. Literally, I'm stepping over balloons, having to walk through balloons and I'm so, like, 'Oh! When is one going to pop?'"
She added that the sound of a balloon popping freaks her out because it reminds her of "gunfire."
According to People, the talk of her balloon fear is because the issue is about facing your fears.
Winfrey said, "There are a few things that in life, if you allow them to, can really keep you from moving forward." She adds, "You have to really walk through it."
Winfrey was in the news last month after experiencing racism when she visited a boutique store in Switzerland.
