Peyton Manning's Denver Broncos will face Eli Manning's New York Giants this Sunday in the third and perhaps final Manning Bowl.
What is a fun and exciting game for fans and a field day for the media, is something that the two brothers do not look forward to. They knew this day would come once Peyton made his move to Denver.
Peyton won his first two meetings with Eli when he was with the Indianapolis Colts. The first Indianapolis won 26-21 in 2006 and won the second game, 38-14 in 2010. According to USA Today, since the Mannings have been in the league, one of them has been in the Super Bowl four times. Peyton's Colts were made it in 2007 and 2010 and Eli's Giants were there in 2008 and 2012. Fans can only hope that maybe one day they will both be there in the same year.
NJ.com reports that Eli spent a good amount of time talking to the media about this upcoming game. Peyton on the other hand seemed annoyed by the questioning in a conference call with New York media.
Fans should savor this game between the two veteran quarterbacks and brothers because it could be the last contest between them with Peyton's contract expiring in 2016 and the two teams not being scheduled to play again until 2017. Unless we have another battle of brothers in the Super Bowl this could be it for Manning Bowls.
