Pharrell Williams spent some time with Justin Bieber recently and he’s claiming the “As Long As You Love Me” singer, 19, is showing some signs of maturing.

After a string of controversial antics, such as recklessly driving his Ferrari, allegedly spitting on a neighbor in his Calabasas, Calif. neighborhood and urinating in a mop bucket at a restaurant in New York City, the “Get Lucky” singer says Bieber is “growing up.”

Williams told Showbiz 411 at the GQ Men Of The Year Awards, “ I think he’s learning what it is that he wants in life and he’s going to make those determinations.”
According to The Inquisitr, Williams continued to say, “He’s still making those decisions.”

Williams went on to share the advice he gave to Bieber, saying “As I told him, I’ll tell you. You’re a co-creator with God, you just have to be appreciative for the pen that you have. So make sure that you write the right things, you say the things that you can live and stand by. As long as you can sleep well at night, you’re doing the right thing.”

On Aug. 27, Bieber gushed about Williams on Twitter, writing:
