This season of America’s Got Talent is starting to wind down, and this year, I actually am impressed with all of the acts who made it to the top twelve. I think that there are some really interesting acts here, and, if I had my way, the top six would be entirely composed of acts that weren’t singers. However, I rarely get my way, because America loves singers, so I have a feeling that quite a few of my favorite acts are going to be going home this week in favor of people who are less original and less fun. But ignoring my rant on singers winning every single talent show on television, lets move on and look at how I ranked the acts from last night’s America’s Got Talent live top twelve performances. Don’t agree with me? Think I’m biased against singers? (I am.) Write about it in the comments below!

12. Innovative Force

They did something a bit more artistic this time, which is nice, but I still just don’t understand why they’re here.

11. Jimmy Rose

I think he made a mistake using an original song for his audition, because every song after that, it feels like he just can’t top the first.

10. D’Angelo and Amanda

I feel like the competition is simply too high this year for these two to be able to move on, even though they are very talented.

9. Branden James

I liked this one better than his past acts, but I’m still not sure how I feel about him.

8. Forte

Oh my goodness, this song. I can’t. In Spanish, it’s even more cheesy! Beautiful singing, as usual. I have no doubts that these guys will move on.

7. Cami Bradley

Singers are all well and good when there aren’t more interesting acts in the competition. The fact that Cami, and other singers on this list, will probably take the spots of more original and interesting acts in the top 6 is very irritating for me.

6. Catapult

I really liked the human seesaw move, and the dragon was awesome, although I’m not sure how it related to the story at all.

5. Collins Key

It was a cool trick, and although it did take a while to get to the action, it was certainly impressive. I like that his style of magic is different from what you typically expect.

4. Chicago Boyz

I feel like their act is getting a bit old, but I’m still enjoying it. It’s pretty predictable sometimes, but it’s still impressive.

3. Kenichi Ebina

I absolutely love that he is trying to show his range in his performances. I’m not sure how well this one will go over with people, though. It wasn’t as technically impressive as his other performances, but it was beautiful and showed a lot of talent.

2. Taylor Williamson

I feel like you have to try so hard not to like him. He just seems so personable, I couldn’t imagine not wanting him to succeed.

1. Kristef Brothers

These guys really nailed it this week. They were a bit off from their narrator sometimes, but they knew what they were doing, and they certainly showed their talents. It’s also extremely impressive that they haven’t done the same trick twice!
