If you're vacationing in San Diego then you must stay at Paradise Point.
Paradise Point is a luxurious resort on Mission Bay in the heart of San Diego. This 44-acre island has everything you could ever dream of in a vacation, from swimming pools to dining options, from an award-winning spa to private beaches.
We stayed at Paradise Point and I did not want to leave. The room had an airy spacious feel unlike a regular hotel suite. It's an ideal place to relax whether you are staying with your loved one or with the family. It came complete with Adirondack chairs for lounging, high speed internet access, luxurious bath amenities and doorstep parking. The views from the rooms are spectactular with vistas overlooking the gardens, the bay or the lagoon.
Vacation is all about relaxing, but if you're travelling with children you'll need to find something to do. Paradise Point offers many recreational activities to pass the time while you enjoy your stay. It's also within walking distance of Sea World! And when you're done with the day's activities, there's nothing better than sitting out in your Adirondack chair and enjoying the view or head down to the beach after dark and light a bonfire in one of their bonfire pits.
Paradise Point offers dining options: Baleen San Diego, Barefoot Bar & Grill, Tropics Cantina, Caveman Pizza Company, and in-room dining. We went to Baleen, an upscale seafood restaurant, for an outstanding dinner. The restaurant has an incredible view of the water and the food was beautifully prepared and served. We sampled the Watermelon and Herbed Goat Cheese Salad and Puree of White Corn. Both dishes were light, refreshing and an excellent start to the evening. Our entrees of Baleen Seafood Cioppino and Seared Albacore were generously portioned and very fresh tasting. If you love dessert you must have the Devil's Food Cake which has a hazelnut-marshmallow crunch and sour cream fudge frosting. It was simply heavenly!
Paradise Point is a wonderful place for vacations and getaways. They also offer packages for business meetings and weddings and celebrations, which I imagine must be memorable.
