Milwaukee Brewers left fielder Ryan Braun has been under a lot of heat lately with the Biogenesis scandal. Not only is he being punished for his PED use with a suspension for the remainder of the 2013 season, but now his business career is going down the drain.

After lying to Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers about his PED use, Rodgers felt cheated by the denial and decided that their restaurant partnership is over, reports NBC Sports.

SURG Restaurant Group is now changing the name of the 8-Twelve MVP Bar & Grill in Brookfield, Wisconsin that Braun co-owned. Another restaurant was planned to go up in Bayshore – the name of that establishment will also be changed. Rodgers will remain a part of SURG to “focus on community relations and charitable activities.”

According to the Associated Press, Braun made a statement that he supports the decision to cut him from the business, wishing the “best of luck to the SURG Restaurant Group as it continues to grow.”

Braun's second restaurant, Graffito, will close by the end of this year.
