The trailer for the hit ABC series, Scandal, has been released for the shows third season.
While the preview doesn’t reveal too much, the show seems to be picking up right where it left off at the surprising end of the season 2 finale.
In case you forgot (if you’re behind on the show… skip this paragraph)… The last episode ended with Olivia Pope, played by Kerry Washington, walking out of her apartment building and getting bombarded by paparazzi questioning if she was the mysterious woman having an affair with the president. Olivia was shooed into a limousine with a man, somehow affiliated with the government/military (we haven’t learned how) who attempted to have her killed several times throughout the season. The episode ends after Olivia reveals this man is her father.
The show is currently nominated for 2 Emmys including Washington for Outstanding Actress in a Drama and Dan Bucatinsky for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Drama.
It returns Thursday, October 3 at 10 PM on ABC.
