People Magazine reports that her journalist beau popped the question to the Avenger’s actress about a month ago.
A source told People that the two lovebirds are “engaged and very happy.”
It seems the gold, vintage Art Deco ring the blonde beauty has been sporting is actually her engagement ring. According to E! Online, a source close to Johansson said the rock was “simply a piece of jewelry.”
The happy couple appeared on the red carpet at the Venice Film Festival yesterday where they premiered the Oscar-nominated actress’s latest film, Under the Skin.
Johansson and her beau took their relationship public back in November of 2012. The leading lady was previously married to actor Ryan Reynolds, but they split ways in July 2011. Reynolds has since wed his Green Lantern co-star, Blake Lively.
