The Awesomes, Seth Meyers’ animated series about a team of misfit superheroes, has earned a second season, Hulu announced today. The show is produced exclusively for the streaming service and wraps up its first season next Thursday.

The Awesomes has been a runaway hit with viewers, and we're thrilled to continue to work with Seth, Mike and their creative team on another season,” Andy Forssell, acting CEO and senior VP of content for Hulu, said in a statement, notes Broadcasting & Cable. “We're also looking forward to our continued partnerships with Broadway Video and Bento Box to bring fans of the show more great adventures with The Awesomes.”

The show, sponsored by Jack Links Beef Jerky (the characters are seen eating jerky during a post-credits sequence in each episode), has been one of Hulu’s Top 10 shows every week since it started last month. Meyers created the show with Mike Shoemaker and the Saturday Night Live star also voices the lead character. Judd Winick leads the writing team and is executive producer.

The voice cast includes Bill Hader, Kenan Thompson, and Taran Killam notes EW.

Hulu also sent a tweet announcing the news. The company announced yesterday that it entered an agreement with BBC Worldwide to include shows like Doctor Who, Sherlock and Top Gear.
