Upon earning a whopping $30 million this past year, this bilingual bombshell has been named the highest-paid television actress for the second year in a row.
The Forbes Celebrity 100 list not only takes into account revenue gained from the celebrity's television series, in this case the immensely popular family sitcom Modern Family, but also the endorsements from outside companies that these celebrities often acquire as a result of their TV success. From deals with CoverGirl, Diet Pepsi and Kmart, just to name a few, it's no surprise that Vergara has landed the number one spot this year--and by a long-shot at that.
All told, the top 20 highest-paid actresses earned $183 million in the past year, reports Forbes. Some other actresses near the top of the list include Mariska Hargitay of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit alongside actress Kaley Cuoco of The Big Bang Theory who have both landed the number two spot below Vergara with $11 million each reports Extra TV, and not surprisingly, the Kardashian sisters for their popular reality TV series, Keeping Up with the Kardashians who have snagged the number four spot on the list with $10 million this past year, along with Tina Fey for her series30 Rock, among a few other actresses.
