Everyone is buzzing about Queen Bey these days, and now veteran singer Stevie Nicks is joining the conversation.
According to E! Online the Fleetwood Mac singer praised Bey saying, “Beyonce’s great. She’s got her alter ego [Sasha Fierce], but Beyonce the girl, the woman, is very sweet and nice and polite.“
She continues, “She’s a good role model. She’s not skanky. I’m glad we have her.”
The 65-year-old singer met Beyonce in 2001 on the set of the Destiny’s Child music video for “Bootylicious.” The song samples Nicks’ 1981 tune “Edge of Seventeen.”
Nicks has not been shy about speaking out against pop stars in the past. The Huffington Post reports that the “Grown Woman” singer has previously dissed Britney Spears.
In 2003, Nicks spoke out against Britney following her “obnoxious” kiss with Madonna at the MTV Video Music Awards. After the shocking moment Nicks said Britney needed to “find a way out of this hole she has dug for herself.”
