The newest addition to ABC’s The View, Jenny McCarthy, is opening up about her new relationship with New Kids on the Block’s Donnie Wahlberg.
After getting together this summer and confirming their relationship late last month, McCarthy dished on why she wanted Wahlberg to be the first guest.
"He was booked to come on the show later to promote Blue Bloods, and I said, 'Can you just switch the date to be my first guest?'" she told People.
"He makes me feel really comfortable and puts me at ease and he brings out the best in me. So I thought, 'Why not step out of your comfort zone, for me, and make me feel comfy on that day?' " she explained.
Since he obliged, she is “really grateful” for that. McCarthy also hinted it’s getting pretty serious between the two, as he has met her son, Evan, calling it “incredible, it was perfect.”
Wahlberg also has two kids from a previous marriage; Xavier Alexander Wahlberg and Elijah Hendrix Wahlberg.
