Last night kicked off Season five of The Voice - and what a night it was! The four original coaches are reunited and the Emmy award-winning vocal competition is back in full swing. This season is proving to be heating up already but the blind auditions are just getting started.

Jacquie Lee started off the second night of blind auditions. Lee chose to perform “Back to Black,” which was originally performed by Amy Winehouse, for her audition. At the very last moment, both Shelton and Aguilera turned their chairs around for the 16-year-old Lee. Shelton and Aguilera battled over Lee but in the end she chose to become a member of Team Christina.

Barry Black took the stage next. Black performed “What You Wouldn’t Do for Love.” Within the first few notes, Levine turned his chair around. Shelton followed Levine, becoming the second coach to turn around. After a lot of deliberation, Black chose to become a member of Team Adam.

Next up to the Voice stage was rocker Mike Unser. Unser chose to perform the upbeat All-American Rejects song “Dirty Little Secret.” Even with an impressive performance and vocal range, none of the four coaches turned their chairs around. The judges encouraged Unser to come back and re-audition next season.

Destinee Quinn, a singer at a biker bar, auditioned next for the coaches. Quinn sang “Cowboy Take Me Away.” Aguilera turned her chair around first for the country singer. Green followed suit, also turning his chair around during an impression vocal run by Quinn. Without much hesitation, Quinn joined Team Christina.

Cole Vosbury auditioned after Quinn. Vosbury sang “Movin’ On Up,” and instantly had the audience cheering and dancing. Green hit his button first and turned around for this one-of-a-kind unique performance. Since Green was the only coach to turn around, Vosbury automatically joined Team Cee Lo.

Holly Henry from Minnesota auditioned for the Voice following Vosbury. Henry performed a truly inspiring rendition of “Clocks” from Coldplay. After the first word, Shelton turned his chair around. Levine and Green also followed suit, turning their chairs around shortly after. Aguilera turned around with just moments left, making Henry’s performance a four-chair turn. In the end, Henry joined Team Blake.

Next up was 16-year-old hip-hop artist, Sammy C. He performed his own take on the Black Eyed Peas single, “Where Is The Love.” Even with a passionate performance, none of the four judges turned around.

After Sammy C.’s performance, a montage of artists who tried out but did not make a team was showed - these performances ranged from pop music to country music.

Up next to the Voice stage was Austin Jenckes who performed “Simple Man,” in honor of his late father. Green and Shelton both turned around for the soul singer. After telling his emotional story of how he ended up on the Voice stage, both coaches really wanted to have Jenckes become a member of their team, but in the end Jenckes joined Team Blake.

Next up was Johnny Gray from Texas. Gray is a proud member of the US military. Gray performed “All These Things That I’ve Done,” originally performed by The Killers. At the end of the performance both Green and Levine turned around. In the end, Gray joined Team Cee Lo.

The final performance of the night was from Tessanne Chin, who came to audition all the way from Jamaica. Chin picked “Try,” originally performed by P!nk for her audition song. Within the first few notes, all four judges turned their chairs around. Her performance was four-chair worthy and got Levine to stand up on his feet with applause. All four coaches wanted Chin to be on their team and the battle was on. Chin decided to become a member of Team Adam.

Next week the blind auditions continue on Monday and Tuesday on NBC.
