Born in Dallas, Texas, Luke Wilson is the youngest of three brothers, Owen, the middle one and Andrew, the eldest. All three would go onto careers in film. Wilson discovered his love of acting while attending Occidental College. In 1993, Wilson collaborated with Wes Anderson on ‘Bottle Rocket,’ which was initially a 13-minute short and premiered at the 1993 Sundance Film Festival. Afterwards, Wilson moved to Hollywood living with his two brothers and Anderson. After appearing in the 1997 coming-of-age drama ‘Telling Lies in America,’ significant roles in comedies followed and the rest is history. Wilson has graced the silver screen with Hollywood’s best and some of comedy’s heaviest hitters.
