Miley Cyrus’ trailer for her MTV documentary Miley: The Movement shows a more personal side of the decisions she makes as an artist. She gushes about being at the position in her career that she can finally be who she wants to be following the success of Hannah Montana.

"I was born to become who I am right now. ... I'm at a point in my career where I can be exactly what I want to be, who I want to be,” she’s heard saying in the trailer.

MTV News notes she continues to say she feels like she’s starting fresh.

"I have this freedom to do whatever I want, because I'm starting as a new artist now," she said. "Every time I do anything, I want to remember: This is what separates me from everybody else."

She touches on the thought process she has about being controversial, such as her now famous MTV Video Music Awards performance of “We Can’t Stop” with Robin Thicke.

"You're always going to make people talk," she said. "You might as well make them talk for two weeks, rather than two seconds."
