On the last episode of America’s Next Top Model, Tyra announced that two of the eliminated models would be returning to the show – one girl and one guy – based on who had the highest social medial score. Last time, Tyra announced Alexandra’s return, but we had to wait until this week to find out which guy would be returning.
The three men who might be coming back were Mike, Jeremy, and Phil (who was just eliminated that day). Phil was shaking because he was so nervous. The social media scores were announced, and the lowest one belonged to Mike. The middle score was Phil, which meant that Jeremy had the highest social media score and would be returning to the show.
The models headed to their challenge where Kelly Cutrone was waiting for them. This week they would be shooting a commercial to sell “Quaff” water. The models went one at a time in front of a green screen where they had to follow strange instructions from the director while interacting with a camel, a unicorn, and standing under a waterfall. Renee was terrified during the challenge – she has an irrational fear of things in suits and things disguised as something else, which meant the pretend camel was freaking her out.
After the models shot their commercials, the judges thought that Alexandra and Jourdan stood out the most. Jourdan ended up winning the challenge for her commitment, professionalism, and believability.
Back in the house, the models got in a big fight over the dirty dishes. Chris wrote a note and put them on everyone’s dishes saying to wash them, including Renee’s dirty plates. Renee got really mad and starting yelling at Chris, and soon all the models took sides and joined in.
Thank goodness the competitors got to get out of the house when they went to their photo shoot – which was at a high school! This week they would be taking “flawsome” photos, which Tyra explained was a combination of the words “flaw” and “awesome.” The guys and girls had to take their biggest flaws and turn them into an asset. Some of the models were given a fake flaw by the makeup department, like a unibrow for Jourdan and a big mole for Marvin. Some of the models got to use their own personal flaws, though, like Don’s skinny legs and Nina’s big eyes.
The models wouldn’t be posing alone, though. They would have to stand out between albino supermodel Sean Ross and Disney actress Zendaya.
After a day of working their flaws, the models headed to panel to hear the the judges critique their modeling flaws. Before they could even get started, though, Alexandra had to leave the room because she felt so ill. She crouched in the hallway, complaining of blurred vision and dizziness. Apparently, she had a heart condition that makes her sick sometimes. Alexandra was sent to lie down and rest while the other models heard their fate.
Nina won the highest score and best photo for her flawsome big-eyed look. Don was the runner up for showing off his skinny legs, followed by Renee who was given a super high forehead, Jourdan with her unibrow, Cory with a widow’s peak, Jeremy’s duck lips, and Marvin’s mole.
That meant the bottom two were Alexandra, who modeled big hips, and Chris, who modeled a gap tooth. The judges questioned Alexandra’s high fashion ability and said that Chris has strong features but is inconsistent. After their scores were tallied up, Chris was still be in the running, while Alexandra, who just reentered the competition, was be eliminated again.
The remaining models would be flying all the way to Bali. Catch them walking an underwater runway on the next episode – Friday at 9/8c on the CW.
