Since the unfortunate, tragic death of Cory Monteith the direction and future of ‘Glee’ has been unknown. The loss of such an integral character is sure to have a significant impact on the future story lines of main characters, particularly that of Rachel Berry (Lea Michele). According to Perez Hilton Ryan Murphy stated “She struggles with it [the loss] all season. It’s not just done, buried and goodbye.” It has been reported that Lea Michele was very much involved in the tribute episode that will honor both Finn Hudson and Monteith himself.
‘Glee’ has a reputation for handling important and social issues with dignity and grace. The hit FOX series will surely encompass the vast emotional wreckage that Monteith’s passing has created for the cast and crew.
The heavy emotion featured in the short clip is surely foreshadowing the deeply saddening episode to come. The episode entitled “The Quarterback” will air on FOX at 9 p.m. ET/PT.
