Crosby sarcastically comments while he watches Jasmine use a breast pump. Crosby not sure how to feed the crying baby from the bottle, Jasmine just starts breastfeeding her.
Sarah is in a park with a photography client. The client states that she loves Sarah’s website but didn’t see any pictures of people. Sarah states she’s trying to specialize in pets.
Heather and Kristina go over their campaign plans. Still using their home as their campaign office, Adam comes downstairs looking for coffee but it is all gone. A shipment of juice is delivered and Adam ends up giving a credit card for payment, not understanding that he just paid $250 for juice but doesn’t have coffee.
Amber and Ryan try to get something started in their apartment when Drew walks in on them. He needs a place to stay because his roommate has someone spending the night and locked him out of their room. Amber says it’s no problem, while Ryan is left frustrated.
While Camille is painting in her studio, Zeek pulls into the driveway with a classic car being towed in. Zeek explains it’s a steal, and that all he has to do is build a new engine. Camille, knowing this is a year-long project, is upset knowing Zeek is avoiding her request to possibly sell the house and downsize their lives.
Sitting in a teacher conference, Julia and Joel learn that Victor may need to repeat his grade due to his lack of reading skills. Joel states that they can work on doing more reading with him, and that Julia is at home now and can handle more of that. The teacher is pleased to hear that and offers to give additional work to help Victor.
As Adam is working on Kristina’s campaign budget at his office, Sarah comes over to use the Wi-Fi. Adam mentions that it’s going to cost $900 for a photographer. Sarah say’s she’s a photographer, why not hire her. Adam argues that she doesn’t actually take pictures of people. She says she’ll do them for free, and as she and Adam shake on it, she quickly says “$100”. “$50” he says.
As Jasmine settles into a bubble bath, finally able to relax, she here’s the baby cry. “I’m on it!” says Crosby. Still unsure on how to bottle feed, the baby continues to cry, and Jasmine can’t relax.
Adam walks in on Kristina trying on business clothes. He comes to her with a budget and what they can do to cut back some expenses. Kristina does not take it well, feeling that Adam is showing no support and questioning her being able to receive enough donations being a first time candidate. Mad that she isn’t getting the support she gave to Adam opening the music studio, she ends the argument by walking out and saying “Thank you Budget Boy”.
Not being able to sleep, Julia is up with coffee in hand as Joel wakes up. They argue about the fact that Victor is not doing any better with Julia reading with him, and she is upset and worried about holding him back a year. Trying to be positive, Joel says that his teacher said he’s a good kid, and if need be, they will get tutor.
In the co-ed dorm showers, Drew’s roommate states that he may need alone-time in the room again tonight. A girl that Drew likes from across the hall comes in and Drew stumbles over his words trying to talk to her, eventually giving up and leaving.
Sarah goes to Hank’s studio to borrow some equipment for her shoot with Kristina. Adam calls and states that Kristina wants to go with someone else. Sarah’s upset and frustrated but Hank tries to talk to her stating that he’s been passed over for jobs many times. Hank also tries to explain that Sarah is “flighty” having tried several different occupations even since he’s known her, and that working with family that knows your history is difficult. Sarah asks Hank if that’s how he feels about her, and with only a pause as a response, Sarah leaves.
At breakfast, Julia tries to talk to Victor about a book that he read with Joel, and Victor doesn’t really answer the question. Joel interrupts and tells the kids to brush their teeth and get ready for school.
Sarah goes to talk to Kristina, with portfolio in hand, and sells herself to be Kristina’s photographer.
Julia runs into Ed, one of the parents at school. She talks to him about Victor being possibly held back a year, and they go over pros and cons together.
Drew tries to talk to his roommate about being locked out of their room when he has an early class. His roommate suggests the next time it happens to talk to the girl he likes, Natalie, across the hall.
Needing some fatherly advice, Crosby and Zeek talk about Crosby’s difficulties in bonding the baby. They look at bottles with life-like nipples that Crosby got at the lactation consultant. Zeek states that raising boys is much different that raising a girl. Crosby didn’t realize it would be this difficult.
Sarah does her shoot with Kristina which ends up being a little chaotic with Max trying to help, Heather overseeing things and Nora running in as well.
While Zeek is working on the car, Camille comes out to talk about selling the house again. Zeek states that he doesn’t want to sell and that’s the end of the discussion. Camille says when it comes down to it, she may not want to either but she deserves for the subject to be talked about.
Sarah feeling insecure about the shoot goes to Hank and asks his advice about the pictures. He looks through them on her laptop and suggests the one he would pick. He says that her pictures are good.
Talking with Amber and Ryan, Drew explains the conversation with his roommate. With the guise of “just going to talk to him”, they go to Drew’s dorm room where Ryan busts the door down with a bat. Ryan talks to the roommate about how if Drew has a problem with things, then it is Ryan’s problem too.
Julia and Joel fight about whether to hold him back a grade. Julia reveals that she’s been talking to Ed about it, and Joel is upset stating that his wife will tell everyone. Joel says no to holding him back and walks out.
Kristina looks at her headshot with Adam. She says she feels like she can do anything after beating cancer. She tries to say maybe she got too ahead of herself with the campaign and that she can look where to pull back her budget. Adam happily hands over his credit cards to her, assuring her that he believes in her.
Going over memories of everything that has taken place at their home, Zeek states that his Act 3 is at the house with Camille. Camille states that she wants more, that she wants to travel and do more.
Drew tells his roommate that he needs the room, kicks him out and brings Natalie in. They sit on his bed and play Scrabble.
Julia and Sydney give support to Victor as he is reading aloud. Joel comes home and Julia gives him a nod and a smile.
Crosby finally has success bottle feeding the baby, telling her that he’s always going to be there for her, as Jasmine’s listens from the doorway.
