Saturday Night Live, the long running NBC sketch comedy series, has announced two new guest hosts and additional musical performers for two back-to-back new episodes starting on Oct. 26 and continuing on Nov. 2.
The Oct. 26 episode will feature Fight club actor Edward Norton. He has recently worked with Wes Anderson on Moonrise Kingdom and the director’s next film, The Grand Budapest Hotel. Norton is also slated to appear in Birdman, directed by Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu.
The musical guest for Norton’s episode will by Janelle Monae, who will be making her SNL debut. She recently released her second album, The Electric Lady, which is already available.
Actress Kerry Washington will host the Nov. 2 episode. She was recently nominated for an Emmy for her role on the ABC series Scandal.
Eminem will perform during Washington’s episode. It will be the rapper’s sixth appearance on the show and he will be promoting The Marshall Mathers LP 2, which hits stores on Nov. 5. The tracklist for the album came out last week and confirmed that it will feature several guest appearances. The single, “Rap God,” was also released this week.
SNL’s previous hosts this season include Tina Fey, Miley Cyrus and Bruce Willis.
