Mike Myers and Kelly Tisdale are expecting their second child their rep has confirmed.
People exclusively reported the news that the couple were preparing for a second child. Their first child together, Spike, is 2 years old.
The couple, who have been married since 2010, told the magazine, "We are thrilled."
The Austin Powers actor recently commented that he had always been looking forward to fatherhood. "Anyone who tells you fatherhood is the greatest thing that can happen to you, they are understating it. I am the happiest I have ever been in my life."
He added, "I knew I wanted to be a father, I didn't know it was going to be this awesome or that my kid would come out so beautiful and lovely."
The Hollywood Reporter notes that Myers has made his directorial debut with the upcoming documentary Supermensch: The Legend of Shep Gordon. The documentary appeared at the Toronto Film Festival and was picked up by RADiUS-TWC and will be out in 2014.
Myers has been quiet on the acting front for years, primarily lending his voice to Shrek productions. He is rumored to be doing an Austin Powers 4 however.
