Alec Baldwin opens up about meeting wife, Hilaria, on MSNBC talk show

Alec Baldwin opened up about meeting his wife, Hilaria, on his MSNBC talk show, Up Late With Alec Baldwin.

He gushed about his first encounter with her, gushing it was meant to be.

The former 30 Rock star told Bill de Blasio, candidate for New York Mayor, "I remember during my lifetime I would meet women, and it was almost like God would say to me, 'Now, this woman here is not the one you are going to end up with, but she is going to be a lot like this woman; look at this woman, study this woman.’”

He added that when he met Hilaria, it all seemed to fall into place. "And when my wife showed up, he was like, 'You recognize her now?'" E! Online reports.

Baldwin married the yoga instructor in June 2012 in NYC and they welcomed their first child, a daughter named Carmen Gabriela in August.

Baldwin, 55, also has a 17-year-old daughter, Ireland, with his ex-wife, Kim Basinger.
