After only a single episode, Amber Tamblyn has been made a series regular for CBS' Two in a Half Men.
Tamblyn joined Alan Cryer and Ashton Kutcher for the new season of Men, where she plays the late Charlie Harper's lesbian daughter, Entertainment Weekly notes.
The actress originally joined the show to play Jenny for five episodes, but was quickly promoted after only the season premiere.
The news isn't terribly surprising as Tamblyn has previously said, "I think everyone wants that internally. It's going to all depend on how the audience and the fans reaction. "
Men showrunner Jim Patterson also has made it known that even before the season started they wanted Jenny to become a regular character on the show.
Deadline reports that the move comes as Tamblyn is currently filming her fifth episode, which means it won't be jarring to see Jenny sticking around. She appears in five of the first six episodes.
Tamblyn will effectively be replacing Angus T. Jones, who now longer is a series regular on the show, but might guest star in a few episodes for the 11th season.
