Fox's midseason is beginning to come together, as the network announced the time slots of several shows. Also announced was a decreased run time for American Idol's result show.

The upcoming season of Idol will feature 30-minute results show, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The show returns Jan. 15 for its 13th season.

Instead of a whole hour of the results show, the other half hour will feature the new, eight-episode Surviving Jack at 8:30 p.m. on Thursdays. The reduced Idol results show is due to poor ratings in its 12th season.

The Following will return to Mondays at 9 p.m. on Jan. 20. Fox is hoping the season finale of Sleepy Hollow will provide the show with a good lead-in audience.

E! News reports that several other shows will begin in January.

Greg Kinnear's new show Rake will air on Thursdays beginning Jan. 23. THR notes Fox has it slated to air an episode on Jan. 19 after the NFC Championship Game in hopes of increasing potential viewers checking in on the official premiere.

The new comedy series Enlisted will begin on Jan. 10.
