Sir Anthony Hopkins wrote a letter to the cast of Breaking Bad after he binged on the entire show and said the show had the best acting ever.
According to E! News, the letter was deemed real by Hopkins' publicist Arnold Robinson after many questioned.
Steven Michael Quezada, who played DEA agent Steve Gomez, first posted the letter on his Facebook page, but later took it down.
"I have never watched anything like it. Brilliant!" writes Hopkins. "Your Walter White was the best acting I have seen--ever. I know there is so much smoke blowing and sickening bulls--t in this business, and I've sort of lost belief in anything really. But this work of yours is spectacular--absolutely stunning."
Though the Silence of the Lambs actor was mainly wrapped up in Bryan Cranston's acting, he made sure to include everyone else involved, New York Daily News reports.
Hopkins writes, "What is extraordinary is the sheer power of everyone in the entire production. What was it? Five or six years in the making? How the producers (yourself being one of them), the writers, directors, cinematographers, every department - casting, etc. managed to keep the discipline and control from the beginning to the end is (that over used word) awesome."
The letter was addressed to primarily Cranston, but Hopkins asked him to pass his compliments on to everyone else. "You and all the cast are the best actors I've ever seen."
