Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici, who met and got engaged on ABC’s The Bachelor, have set a date for their upcoming televised wedding.

They appeared on Good Morning America on Monday and announced they will be exchanging vows on Jan. 26 in a live ceremony airing on ABC.

Giudici said of her hopes for the big day, “I just want it to be fun and show our love. Other than that I know it will be a beautiful wedding," USA Today reports.

Lowe added, "Hopefully, everything goes smoothly.”

The couple explained the wedding will be “traditional” and they want to have a “big party” after they make it official.

"It's really exciting," Lowe told People of the wedding. "Time has just flown by – I think January is going to sneak up on us pretty quickly!"

Lowe, 29, a born again virgin, proposed to his fiancé, Giudici, on the finale of their season of The Bachelor. The episode aired almost a year ago, in March.

"I think it's only natural to have it on TV seeing as how our relationship started,” Lowe continued. “This will be a cool opportunity to share the most special day of our lives with all the people who have been invested in us along the way."
