When Bruno Mars makes his debut on the Super Bowl stage during halftime this year, rapper B.o.B hopes to join him.
Mars has been chosen as the performer for this year’s Super Bowl XLVIII on Feb. 2 in East Rutherford, N.J.
B.o.B, who collaborated with Mars on their 2010 hit “Nothin’ On You,” joked "I ain't got my phone call yet, but I hope I'll be on there,” Yahoo! reports.
The song was nominated for Grammys and helped launch Mars’ widely successful solo career. B.o.B. and Mars’ careers took off right around the same time.
As we previously reported, it was announced back in early September that Mars would be performing at the halftime show this year. He will follow-up Beyonce’s performance from last year.
He tweeted at the time, “WE'RE GOING TO THE SUPER BOWL!!!!!!!” Pepsi, who sponsors the event, also tweeted “Excited to have you in #PepsiSBHalftime Mr. @BrunoMars. We KNOW you're #FanEnough! The countdown to Feb 2 is on.”
