Zac Efron
Happy Birthday to actor/singer Zac Efron who turns 26 today. Born in San Luis Obispo, CA the young star has come a long way since he first obtained his young heartthrob status as Troy Bolton in Disney’s High School Musical. He even dated his love in the film, Vanessa Hudgens in real-life before breaking up in late 2010. Since his Disney days Efron has starred in the musical remake of Hairspray, comedies such as 17 Again and the star-studded New Year’s Eve. He displayed his more dramatic acting chops in Charlie St. Cloud and the gritty drama The Paperboy. This year Efron co-stars in Parkland which chronicles the events that occurred at Parkland Hospital after the assassination of President John F. Kennedy (coincidentally today is also the birthday of Kennedy’s assassin, Lee Harvey Oswald).

Freida Pinto
Freida Pinto actress and model was born on this day. Pinto, born in Mumbai, India turns 29 today. The starlet was first introduced to American audiences in 2008’s Slumdog Millionaire. Soon after the film’s release Pinto spit from her then fiancé, publicist Rohan Antao and began dating her Slumbdog Millionaire co-star Dev Patel. Pinto is scheduled to co-star with Christian Bale in the upcoming film Knight of Cups which is scheduled for release in early 2014.

FYI: Pinto completed college at the St. Xavier’s College in Mumbai where she received a degree in for English literature and minored in Economics and Psychology.

Shaffer Chimere Smith turns 31 today!! But he probably most known to his millions of fans as singer-songwriter, actor and music producer, Ne-Yo. Before he released his first single, Ne-Yo was the super producer to the stars such as Mary J. Blige and B2K. His first major break came when he wrote Mario’s “Let Me Love You”. Two years later Ne-Yo released his debut album In My Own Wordsand the smash single “So Sick”. Ne-Yo has a daughter and song with longtime girlfriend Monyetta Shaw before the couple this summer.
