Chelsea Clinton admits she’s got baby on the brain, saying 2014 should be the year that she and husband Marc Mezvinsky get pregnant.
The daughter of President Bill Clinton and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton says she gets pressure from her mother all the time to start a family.
“She asks us about it every single day,” Chelsea told Glamour. “The first thing on the list was simple: We want, God willing, to start a family. So we decided to make 2014 the Year of the Baby. And please call my mother and tell her that.”
Chelsea went on to talk about the impact the passing of her maternal grandmother, Dorothy Rodham, in 2011 had on her.
“I’ve never been so lost as I was when she passed,” she said, Showbizspy reports. My grandmother was determined that everyone feel a sense of optimism and opportunity. Marc and I want to make sure we’re doing that. This period in our lives is not just a tribute to her, it’s inspired by her. And it’s for when we have our own children – I want to help make sure we’ve got a world I want them to live in.”
Chelsea has been married to Mezvinsky for three years.
