A rivalry was renewed as the Chiefs end a six game losing streak against the Raiders at Arrowhead Stadium.

Surrounded by the loudest crowd in the NFL, Alex Smith said he couldn't hear himself talking and Dwayne Bowe was reminded of the crowd noise of college.

KansasCity.com reports that Andy Reid pulled out some old game tape of Raiders Chiefs games from the 60's, 70's, and 90's.

"We broke out some old Emmitt Thomas tape and showed them what it was all about," Reid said, referring to the Chiefs Hall of Fame cornerback and current secondary coach.

The teams of these ages focused on great defense. They must have rubbed off on today's Chiefs because the defense recorded 10 sacks in the 24-7 victory. Along with that they held Darren McFadden to 52 yards on the ground.

According to ESPN Jamal Charles ran for three touchdowns and the crow broke the Guinness world record for crowd noise previously set by the Seahawks fans. The volume got to 137.5 decibels topping the 136.6 set by Seahawks fans.
