The Chiefs stick one out against the Texans behind their league-leading defense 17-16.

Casey Keenum stepped in at quarterback for the Texans this week against a team who came into the game leading the NFL in sacks. Keenum saw why as he was sacked five times by the Kansas City defense. One of these sacks led to a lost fumble on the Texans' two-yard lin with 1:34 to play in the game, according to SportingNews.com. Tamba Hali had 2 1/2 sacks on the day, this one being one of them.

Besides that, Keenum did not have a terrible game for his first NFL start. Keenum was playing in place of the injured Matt Schaub, and threw for 271 yards and a touchdown.

NY Times reports that Chiefs running back Jamal Charles joined O.J. Simpson as the only two players to have 100 yards from scrimmage and a touchdown in every one of the first seven games of the season. Charles finished Sunday's game with 123 yards from scrimmage, 86 of them rushing yards.

The Chiefs (7-0) are officially the only team left without a loss this season as the Denver Broncos lost in Indianapolis Sunday night.
