Chris Brown has been busy doing his publicitry rounds for his new album, X that will be released in November and he didn’t hold much back during his most recent interview. Brown admits to in the interview with the Guardian that he lost his virginity when he was just 8 years old to a girl that was 14 or 15 years old.
He says, “It’s different in the country. By that point we were kind of like hot to trot, you know what I’m saying? Like girls, we weren’t afraid to talk to them. I wasn’t afraid. So, at eight, being able to do it, it kind of preps you for the long run, so you can be a beast at it. You can be the beast at it.”
In the interview he also talked about the infamous Rihanna incident, when he assaulted his then girlfriend Rihanna. He was sentenced to six months of community work and five years’ probation. The incident happened when he was 19 and as a 24 year old man, he understands that he was young and immature back then.
According to New York Daily News, Brown said that, “I had to stop acting like a teenager, a crazy, wild , young guy.I learned from it and , and it was almost like..I wouldn’t say it happened for a reason but it was something to trigger my mind to be more of a mature adult. To handle myself in situations, don’t throw tantrums, don’t be a baby about it.”
Chris also shares his frustrations with the media, and how he handles the paparazzi.
His sixth album, X will be released on November 19.
