Following his Sunday morning arrest for felony assault, Chris Brown is still in jail. He got into an altercation with a man outside of the W Hotel on Washington D.C. after hosting a party in the area.
According to a spokesperson for the D.C. U.S. Marshal's Service, Brown was still behind bars as of 11:30 on Monday morning. He can’t be released until he sees a judge because he’s still on probation from his 2009 incident with ex-girlfriend Rihanna.
MTV News reports Brown’s bodyguard, Christopher Hollos, was also arrested following the incident.
Since the arrest, the alleged victim has spoken to TMZ, claiming Brown broke his nose as a result of punching him.
He said he was at the W Hotel with a friend when they saw Brown taking a picture with two female fans. When he and the friend photobombed the picture as a joke, the “Fine China” singer blew up and punched him in the face.
Before punching him, the alleged victim claims he said "I'm not into this gay s**t, I'm into boxing."
However, sources close to Brown say that is a made up story and that Brown was trying to prevent the man from going on to his tour bus. The man has already hired a lawyer and plans to press charges.
