Christina Applegate’s husband, Porno for Pyros bassist Martyn LeNoble, was detained on Sunday after getting into a scuffle with paparazzi in Studio City, Calif.
LeNoble became enraged when a paparazzo began snapping shots of his wife and 2-year-old daughter while they were at a birthday party. It then turned into a fight and he was detained, although not arrested of handcuffed.
"I went outside to talk to him and he got physical with me ... he wouldn't back off,” LeNoble said about the altercation, TMZ reports. He also claimed the paparazzo asked him to fight, saying "Let's see what kind of man you are."
He was released after being patted down and some questioning but will likely press charges. The paparazzo won’ be pressing charges.
Back in August, Applegate went on a Twitter tirade about wanting their daughter to live a normal life.
Starpulse notes she wrote, "I want my daughter to live a normal life. I want her to feel free to be who she wants, so paparazzi stop taking pics of her! Enough. It's times like these where I understand why Michael Jackson had his kids covered they were able to be anonymous until they decided to be public. We need a law against this! Taking pics of kids is sick!"
