Here’s our daily wrap for Wednesday October 23rd:

American Sherlock fans finally have a release date for Season 3. The first episode of the third season will air on PBS January 19th at 10 p.m. after Downton Abbey which returns January 5th. The U.K. premiere has yet to be announced, but Sherlock will air in the United Kingdom before any American viewers get the chance to see it. This new season will contain three episodes, the same as past seasons, and this is no news on a season 4.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will be christening their son Prince George today and the seven godparents have been announced. Among the seven godparents only one is a royal, and it is not Prince Harry. In fact Harry, Pippa and James Middleton were not selected as godparents to the young royal. The godparents named are Zara Tindall, childhood friend William van Cutsem, Julia Samuel, former Private Secretary Jamie Lowther-Pinkerton, Earl Grosvenor, the Duchess’ friend Emilia Jardine-Paterson and University of St. Andrews classmate Oliver Baker.

Pauly D, former Jersey Shore cast member, is now a father. The child is already a few months old and Pauly D had a paternity test to ensure the child was actually his. The mother is also a New Jersey native but met Pauly D when he was DJing in Las Vegas. Oher cast members, such as Snooki and JWow, have announced excitement at the news and have said “he’s going to be an amazing father.”
