Sean "Diddy" Combs said that he wants to be the first African-American to own a National League Football team.

In an interview with Bloomberg, the music mogul said he doesn't want to own just a piece of a team.

"I love sports, but I'm more of a owner type of guy, so I have aspirations to become -- which it will happen -- I will become the first African-American majority owner," said Diddy, who recently launched his own TV network, Revolt TV.

Diddy continued, "Not having a small stake but actually owning an NFL team. I think it's time for that. A majority of players that are in the NFL are African-American, but there are no African-American owners. So that's one of my dreams."

NBC Sports notes that though Diddy has an estimated worth of $580 million, he'd still need a lot more money to ever achieve his dream of owning a team.

While he wants to own a team, Diddy isn't interested in following in Jay Z's footsteps and open a sports agency. "When I get the calls, 'Well we need to do Bad Boy Sports,' I'm like, 'No, that's not my lane.'"

Diddy added, "I stay in my lane. This is the lane that I want to do. And I'm just me; I do my own thing."

MTV notes that Diddy said that the two are competitive with each other. "We're definitely friends but we push each other."
