Country singer Dierks Bentley and his wife Cassidy Black have welcomed a baby boy named Knox. This is the third child for the couple, who already have Evelyn Day, 4, and Jordan Catherine, 2.

On Tuesday night, Bentley took to Twitter to relay the joyous news to his fans.

He then praised the medical staff who helped them bring another baby into the world.

The couple announced they were expecting another baby back in April, when Bentley tweeted to fellow country crooner Tim McGraw.

“So my wife and i will be changing our family defensive strategy come the fall. switching from MAN-to-MAN to ZONE. #3! advice @thetimmcgraw?!” he wrote. McGraw, who has three daughters with his wife, Faith Hill, responded with “Hey @DierksBentley, with all girls so far you might do best to just join the offense!!…congrats on #3.”

Bentley and his wife tied the knot back in 2005. He previously talked about missing his family while on the road, saying “I’m always thinking about my girls and always missing them. Now that’s the curtain’s been raised on that emotion and you can see what life is all about, it amplifies everything you do. It affects your soul in a weird way."
