Rapper Drake has allegedly kicked rapper Future off his upcoming tour that is named, “Would You Like a Tour?” after Future criticized Drake’s new album. Future went to Billboard magazine’s office on October 4 so the editors can listen to his latest album, Honest.
According to the Page Six associate editor Erika Ramirez published and tweeted some quotes from Future and he said about Drake’s latest album, Nothing Was the Same ,“Drake made an album full of hits but it doesn’t grab you. They’re not possessive; they don’t make you feel the way I do.”
Future’s managers said that the quotes were taken out of context and they were supposed to be off the record.
Drake was so angry that he demanded that Future be booted off his tour. A source said that, “He told his agent either Future gets fired, or he’ll fire him.”
Rolling Stone reports that Drake told Future to take a pay cut but Future declined. He is planning on suing Drake for about $1.5 million, because Future will be losing out on $40,000 per show.
Even though the published story has been deleted, Erica Ramirez has not deleted her tweets.
Billboard released a statement saying that, “We regret that miscommunication surrounding Future’s recent visit, one that seemed clear to us was on the record, may have caused trouble for the artist.”
