Canadian rapper Drake canceled his show in Philadelphia Saturday night, one hour after the show was scheduled to start.
Philly.com reports that concert goers were already taking their seats in the Wells Fargo Center when they were told that the concert had been canceled. Wells Fargo spokesperson Rebecca Goodman released a statement saying that "due to the elaborate nature of tonight's show and unexpected technical issue, 'Drake's Would You Like a Tour?' concert at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia has been postponed until Wednesday, December 18th."
The concert was scheduled for 7:30 pm and attendees began to vent on Twitter about the concert shortly before 8:30.
Drake's "Would You Like a Tour?" started off in Pittsburgh. Singer Future, who earlier was reported to have been kicked off the tour, confirmed to Rolling Stone that him and Drake worked everything out and will be reunited on the tour.
In his statement he said, "I am set to continue as planned with Drake and Miguel on the 'Would You Like a Tour?' tour slated to begin on October 18th in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. I'm looking forward to hitting the road this fall."
All tickets and original parking receipts will be accepted on the December 18th date.
