Fans of Oscar-winning writer Diablo Cody will be happy to know that she is working on a teen drama pilot, which has landed at Fox. The project is a collaboration between the Juno writer and O.C. creator Josh Schwartz and is titled Prodigy.

Cody has written the pilot, with Schwartz co-producing with ABC Studios and Stephanie Savage’s Fake Empire, reports Deadline.

According to Entertainment Weekly, Prodigy focuses on a 16-year-old genius who was home schooled. Before she goes to college, though, she decides to take classes at a local high school, where she gets involved with a rowdy crowd.

Fake Empire, which Schwartz and his Gossip Girl co-creator Savage started in 2010, is based at ABC Studios and Prodigy marks their fifth sale since moving there this year, notes Deadline.

Cody won her Oscar for 2007’s Juno and is also working on another series at TBS called My Time With Diablo Cody. She recently made Paradise, her first film as director. It stars Julianne Hough, Nick Offerman and Russell Brand and hits theaters on Oct. 18.
